Obituary of Vinnia "Betsy" Elizabeth Ayers

Vinnia “Betsy” Elizabeth Ayers, was born on Aug 25, 1945 in Paris, Kentucky to the late John Lee Ayers and Theodora Bertha Rice.

Vinnia was a devoted mother and grandmother and enjoyed taking care of her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, watching the Denver Broncos, and taking the occasional trip to Cripple Creek, CO.

Vinnia was a professional seamstress with Image First, formerly known as Central Linen Uniform Company, were she worked for the last 18 years.

Vinnia was always gracious with her time to those around her; whether it was friendly convos, give advice, or to help repair someone’s garment on the side.

Vinnia gained her heavenly wings on Oct 22, 2023.

She leaves to cherish her memory, four loving children: James Allen Brooks Jr., Anna Maria Brooks, Barbara Jean Brooks, and Vivian Elaine Brooks, Seven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren and a host of family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her brothers Richard, John Harvey, and Thoedore, and her sister Herlina Stevenson and Mary K. Oliver.
