Pat Montoya, son of Thomas & Virginia Montoya Bay Area, California My heart felt memories of Uncle Bob, love, faith, family, always with positive energy, full of fun and laughter. I looked up to him, thought he was so cool. I have fond memories of one of our family trips to Lake Tahoe, CA when Uncle Bob & Aunt Esther met us there and enjoyed each other's company for a few days. Have always remembered when I was young, getting together at their home or camping, fishing trips to the lake were always welcoming with love, laughter and with fun times. I'm sending love, prayers and support to all the family members especially Aunt Esther, Julianne and Robert. I'm so very sorry for your loss of Uncle Bob. With Love Always, Pat

Bob Aranda and his wife, Virginia Esther, are my and my two daughters' Godparents. They are two of the finest people I've ever known. We met in 1959 when Bob and my husband, Phil, were in the Army in the same unit. We've kept in touch all these years, seeing each other many times. The guys were best buddies. They loved golfing and fishing together. It brings me a sense of peace to picture them together again. Bob will truly be missed, but I thank God for bringing him and his wonderful family into my family's life.
