Obituary of Sabrina Lynette Davis

Sabrina "Brina" L. Davis, age 63, sadly passed away on August 12, 2023 at her home in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Sabrina was born on January 27, 1960 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Robert H. Davis and Rev. Loretta Jackson. 

Preceding her in death are her parents Robert H. Davis, Rev. Loretta Jackson and her daughter Kyanna Price-Brown.

Those left behind to cherish Brina's memory are loving children, Sakeya Price, Keyarra Price, Ricky Reine Jr., Bobby Davis, 8 grandchildren and two loving sisters Apostle Deborah Davis and Denise Davis. 

Sabrina was educated in the Orleans Parish School System and graduated from Alcee Fortier High School in 1977 and later attended Southern University at New Orleans; majoring in Social Work.

Sabrina was a proud member of the National Black Women Health Project and Juvenile Justice Project in Louisiana. 

Sabrina's passions in life were cooking, she was famously known for her creole dishes such as Jambalaya, Gumbo and Red Beans and Rice. Family and friend would fondly call her "Brina" or "Brin Brin". Brina had a warm giving heart, beautiful smile and really enjoyed helping others. Brina never met a stranger. She loved to read, listen to music and dance. Brina's spirit will live on, she will definitely be remembered by all who knew her.

A memorial service is scheduled on Friday, September 1, 2023 at 11:30AM at Ray Avenue Baptist Church 4712 Ray Avenue New Orleans, LA 70126.
