Obituary of Lawrence George Robinson Sr.
Lawrence “Larry” G. Robinson, Sr. (77), of Englewood, Colorado passed away unexpectedly on August 3, 2023.
Larry was born in Waltham, Massachusetts on September 4, 1945. After graduating high school, Larry served in the U.S. Air Force from 1964-1968 fixing sensitive communication equipment. Upon leaving the Air Force, Larry attended Southwestern College in Winfield, Kansas to obtain his Bachelors of Science degree and then went on to obtain his Master’s Degree from CSU in Ft. Collins, Colorado. After graduating from CSU Larry went to work for Alexander Grant as a CPA for two years and then opened his own practice which he had until his passing. Larry always enjoyed the time he spent with his clients, many of whom he had since the inception of his business. You could always count on Larry for a laugh. Even though he had a serious side, he could make you laugh until you cried with his stories and jokes.
Larry enjoyed golfing, gardening, going to movies, woodworking, fishing trips and traveling. Recently in his free time he enjoyed reading a good book and spending time with family and friends.
Larry is survived by his wife Daniela; son Larry, Jr. and wife Simone of Englewood, CO; daughter Katrina (Fox) and husband Dave of Parker, CO; grandchildren Allexis, Coleton, Hailey and Paeten; three great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; his twin sister Linda Dahlberg; brother Richard and wife Debbie. He was preceded in death by his parents John J. and Georgianna Robinson and his brother Jim Robinson.
Military Honor Guard Service at Ft. Logan National Cemetery on September 22, 2023 11:00am, at Staging Area “C”.
Celebration of Life reception to follow at Maggiano’s Little Italy, 7401 South Clinton Street, Englewood, Colorado from 12:00pm – 3:00pm.
