Obituary of David Bruce Blessinger

David B. Blessinger was born in Denver, Colorado on November 7, 1927 and passed peacefully at his home on June 24, 2023.  David is survived by his wife of 65 years, Thelma; his four daughters, Cindy, Donna, Diana and Debra; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his son Gary, his father Addie, his mother Myrtle and his siblings.

David served as a photo lab tech in the Air Force where he was awarded the World War II Victory medal, before being honorably discharged in May 1947.

David married Thelma on April 19, 1958 and they lived their life together in Colorado.  After David left the Service, he worked a variety of jobs and landed at ConAgra as a semi-truck driver.  After 31 years of service with ConAgra, he retired in 1989.

David’s service will be held at 1:00pm on August 18^th, 2023, Staging Area A at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colorado.
