Obituary of Elijah E. Keith, Jr.

Elijah E. Keith, Jr., was born in Ogden, Utah to Elijah E. Keith, Sr., and Julie Costick. Elijah E. Keith, Jr. passed away after a service-connected illness on May 9, 2023. 


Elijah leaves behind his loving wife of 21 years, Cheryl Hunt Keith. He had two children, Julianna Y. Kieth Mcrew and Sean Keith. He has two stepchildren, Anthony Chapman (Wendy) and Sonya R. Chapman, one grandchild, Jackson McGrew, two grand-stepchildren, Theo Soward and Katie Chapman, and one sister, Tammy Keith Heid (Dave).


Elijah was a loving family man with a sense of humor unlike any other. He enjoyed spending time with his wife and family, playing the piano, chess, and pool with his friends and family.

 

Elijah was a Green Beret in the U.S. Army where he performed duties in Israel and other places around the world. he had his Master's Degree and his black belt in Judo. Elijah worked as an accountant and security guard after retiring from the U.S. Army.

 

Elija's committal service will be held at 9:00 a.m. on June 12, 2023, at Ft. Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colorado. Full military honors will be performed by the United States Army Honor Guard.
