Obituary of Lawrence "Dan" Daniel Hall

Dan Hall, 74, of Colorado Springs, CO, passed away on April 16, 2023. Dan was born on October 29, 1948, in Denver, CO, to Lt. Col. Lawrence A. Hall and Mrs. Virginia Lee (Friedl) Hall. He was predeceased by his parents.

Dan served in the United States Army for 20 years and 10 days and was a staunch political conservative who defended the 2nd Amendment right to keep and bear arms. He was politically aware and voted his conscience. After retiring from the military, Dan pursued a career as a Certified Pharmacy Tech. at St. Francis Pharmacy and the VA Pharmacy.

Dan attended several elementary and high schools as a Marine dependent and earned his undergraduate degree from Colorado State University in Ft. Collins and his Master's degree from Webster University.

Dan enjoyed target shooting, flight lessons at the Air Force Academy Airport, motorcycling, bicycling, computer flight simulator games, computer submarine simulator games, marathon movie-series watching, waiting for his Elio to be built, ultralight flying, building clocks from kits, and playing games with his grandchildren.

Dan is survived by his wife, Janet A. Hall, daughter Danica L. (Hall) Midlil, son-in-law Alex Midlil, grandson Ben Midlil, and granddaughter Abby Midlil, siblings Preston J. Hall, Christine D. Hall, and Martin K. Hall, Uncle Ron Hall and Aunt Chris Hall, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A ceremony will be held at Ft. Logan National Cemetery on June 30, 2023, at 2:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Shriners Children's Hospital, St. Jude Children's Hospital, Colorado Springs Children's Hospital, or the USO.
