Mr. Cavera was my all time favorite teacher. I was an aide for him for several terms. He was very important to me. After my brother passed he was the first person I wanted to talk to and he was there for me. I am so sad to hear that he passed. Sending love, light, and prayers to his family and friends. I was truly blessed to know him in this lifetime.

I am truly sorry to learn of Mr. Cavera's passing. I was one of the many students he positively impacted throughout his teaching career. He was our class advisor, my teacher two times over, and a quick provider of Quality Dairy Old Fashioned doughnuts. He had a keen sense of humor matched by his clear belief in service. My thoughts are with his family, I hope they are sharing fond memories and that their spirits are lifted in knowing the impact he had on decades of students will live on for generations to come.

Mr. Cavara was a very exciting teacher when he taught Western class. I was a 82 graduate and will miss him very much. He made class so exciting to come to

I am so sorry to hear this sad news. I am 41 now but remember Mr Cavera fondly from my time in his class when I was in high school. He always made us laugh saying in mock exasperation, "every day is a new day with you people!" He actually took a chance on me once during a time in my life when not many people did and to this day I remember our conversation and his belief in me well. It is one that stuck with me through the years. So very sorry for your loss. He was a favorite teacher of mine and no doubt many others.
