Obituary of Julia Trujillo

Julia Trujillo went home to be with Our Lord on February 4, 2020.  Julia was born on December 19, 1924 in Delagua, Colorado, she was 95 years old.   Julia married Delfino Trujillo when she was 23 years old.  They had three children, Jimmy, Cynthia and Jay Dee. 

Julia was one of 13 children born to Tomas and Paula Espinosa.  She learned to sew when her feet could just hit the pedals on a sewing machine.  Julia also enjoyed knitting, crocheting, sewing and spending time with her family.  She had a huge heart full of generosity and love along with a sharp sense of humor. 

Julia was preceded in death by her son, Jimmy, husband Del, two grandchildren, Julie and Matthew  and eleven brothers and sisters.  She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia (John) Carrillo and Jay Dee Trujillo, her sister Jennie Solis, three grandchildren, Anthony Trujillo, Stephanie (Chad) Saulter,  Danelle (John) Brooks,  four great grandchildren, Jimmy, Ashton, Jacob and Isabel Julia.  She was also "grandma" to all of the family's friends.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at Guardian Angels Catholic Church.  Committal Service will follow at Ft. Logan National Cemetery Staging Area "A".  Friends and relatives are invited to a reception at 3:30pm at Firefighter Events. 

The family would like to express their thanks for all the love and support they have received during the passing of Julia.  Vaya Con Dios, Julia, you will be greatly missed.
