Born in Minot, North Dakota, on August 11, 1951 to Eugene and Shirley Rensch. Debbie was raised in Makoti, ND  and the second oldest of eight children. She married the love of her life, Roger Lee Semmen, October 19, 1968. They left North Dakota and made their home in Westminster, Colorado were they raised their four daughters. Debbie ran the busy side of Semmen Drywall and maintained their rental properties. Debbie was a member and volunteered at the VFW.

She lived for her daughters, son-in-laws, grandchildren, and family. Her 68 years of life was full of love and laughter. She loved bowling, The Avs, The Broncos, camping, baking and having a great time making memories.  She loved to be with her grandchildren and going out to dinner.  Friday nights were spent with her dear friends at the VFW and summer was full of camping. Most people pour from a cup, but our mom, poured herself out of a bucket for everyone around her. She was without her only true love, Roger, since May 16, 2012 and is now reunited with him in Heaven.
